Snappy is a software deployment and package management system developed by Canonical for the Linux operating system. The packages, called snaps, and the tool for using them, snapd, work across a range of Linux distributions allowing distribution-agnostic upstream software packaging. (Wikipedia)

Show a snap, install it and remove it

snap info go
snap install --classic go
snap remove go

Install or refresh a specifc version

snap install go --channel 1.13/stable --classic
snap refresh go --channel 1.13/stable --classic
